Hinduism Worldwide in Pictures

HINDUISM WORLDWIDE

The pictures in this document of 42 pages illustrate how Hinduism spread to various parts of the world through exotic temples -each having a distinct identity of it’s own with a history behind it.

E-Book on “Kāmākshi-The Divine Mother”

In Hinduism, we attach the greatest importance to a mother. She gives birth to children, feeds and raises them. Hence, the Vedas say “Mathru Devoh Bhava,” meaning a mother should be praised as an incarnation of God. If this is such a high status of a woman who gave us this human body and nurtured it, how can we even quantify the stature and divinity of the Sarveshwari Divine Mother, Kāmākshi?

Here is a compilation of discourses by Kānchi Mahāperiyavā on the Divine Mother (original in Tamil done by me in 2017) translated into English by one of my dedicated students Sundari Ravi from Toronto, Canada with finishing touches made by my good friend K. Raman, of Santa Clara, California. This E-book starts with the History of Shri Kāmākshi Devi and contains numerous Sanskrit words that you may like to learn.

For those who can read Tamil, the link to the Tamil book is also provided for your interest.

Hinduism is spreading in many countries because people are appreciating the value of it in promoting peace and happiness to all. Veda Union (VU) in Europe is a network which seeks to unite all European Veda chanting groups, no matter of their country of origin, language or religion, under one mother organization. European Union has united in political, monetary, as well as other secular areas.
